Real life is messier than the movies. A bold, thought-provoking novel from the exceptionally talented, Steven Camden.
He's Luke. She's Leia.
Just like in Star Wars. Just like they’re made for each other. Same film studies course, different backgrounds, different ends of town.
Only this isn't a film. This is real life. This is where monsters from the past come back to take revenge. This is where you are sometimes the monster.
But real life? Sometimes, only sometimes, it turns out just like in the movies…
… maybe.

I received this book for free from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

The one thing you should understand about this book is that it was quite confusing at the start. The whole story was written from Luke’s point of view, and some of his thoughts were in script forms. And at the start, I could not understand. I was totally unsure about the main plot of the story, until I reached around 30% of it? That’s when I started to understand.

This book wasn’t a full love story. Sure, there were pretty much about Leia and Luke, but the main focal point in this book was another story. It was more about Luke finding out who he wants to be and what he stands for. After getting past the messy introductions, I finally started enjoying the book.

I like Luke pretty much because he was real. It’s true. His thoughts were that of someone who was always uncertain. Doing against what he actually wanted to do. Like, his mind will be all, NO, LUKE but in the end he did the opposite. So it was kinda understandable. I am honestly having a hard time reviewing this book, because I don’t really know what to say that won’t give up the whole story plot.

So, I’ll just end this off by saying that this story was fairly amusing. I do enjoy it, more than I expected to when I first started reading it.
