I would like to thank Josephine from Word Revel and Elaine for forcing me to buy this HUGE book while they were visiting me at Kinokuniya. This book and its series have been my life ever since then, and I don’t think I’ll move on. NOT ANY TIME SOON, OR MAYBE NEVER. I tried to listen to the audio book of The Final Empire, BUT NOPE. Definitely not a great idea, because I got hopelessly lost. But the book. Oh my God. It captured my attention since the first page and all through to the last page. I was happy, […]

Furthermore was everything I never expected and more. MORE. MORE. This book was actually in the Middle Grade genre, and to be honest, I don’t really read MG books. But it was from TAHEREH MAFI and if you’ve read the Shatter Me trilogy, you would know that you should definitely read ALL HER BOOKS, MIDDLE GRADE OR NOT. Furthermore is really REALLY CUTE and well-written. I actually fell in love with Tahereh’s writing at first page because it was really good. I feel that everyone should definitely read this book BECAUSE. IT. IS. AMAZING. Like, hello if you rate this below […]

Review: The Blood of Olympus (The Heroes of Olympus #5) by Rick Riordan

AND THAT CONCLUDES THE END OF THE HEROES OF OLYMPUS HOORAY! I was really really impressed by the way Rick Riordan ended off this whole series, with a whole lot of explosions and deaths and whatnots obviously. I was kinda sad that there were no POVs by Percy Jackson, but I guess it’s time for him to take a break. After all, he was from the first Percy Jackson series. ALSO, I did get to learn more about the other characters, such as Leo and Nico. NICO. OMG. MY HEART. Have I said how much I completely adore Nico, despite […]

The Possibility of Somewhere was everything that I have always wanted in a book. It deals with racism and prejudice and oh my God, I cried so damn hard! SERIOUSLY, THIS BOOK IS REALLY GOOD I read it in one sitting. It was heartbreaking and yes, I knew I would cry before this book even reached its climax, because I could feel the emotions. The sadness, the joy, the heartbreaks, I could feel them all. I was emotionally invested in the characters, especially Eden. Eden was strong and modest in her own way. She always thinks the worst of herself […]

Review: Strange and Ever After (Something Strange and Deadly #3) by Susan Dennard

Review: Strange and Ever After (Something Strange and Deadly #3) by Susan Dennard

Did this book killed me? YES. Okay, not literally, but it broke my heart so badly that I thought I would die BOOHOO. Yeah, I’m a drama queen heheheh. ANYWAY, to be honest, I started off this whole series doubting it. I mean, I didn’t really like any stories that happened before the 20th century so obviously I was thinking twice about reading this series. BUT THEN it was by Susan Dennard and there were zombies and people dying, and I knew I had to read it. I never thought I would get emotionally attached to the characters, but I […]
