This book left me in pieces. (HAHA did you see what I did there? Girl in Pieces? Left me in pieces? Okay, I’m lame.) But truly, this book tore me up and it took me awhile to recover from it. In fact, I wrote this review 385 days after reading this book, because I was seriously invested in it. This book is mine. This book is all me, and I can relate to it, and this is me. Get it? No? HAHA I’m sorry. Girl In Pieces was about a girl who went through so much that she’s broken. And it took […]

Review: The Museum of Heartbreak by Meg Leder

Review: The Museum of Heartbreak by Meg Leder

Reaction upon finishing this book at 1am: Ah, the feels of reading a beautiful, beautiful book. I have to admit that I was surprised by The Museum of Heartbreak. I expected myself to be sobbing my heart out, with all the heartbreaks and feels and whatnot. But instead, The Museum of Heartbreak broke my heart in a totally, beautiful way that left me speechless (and a little bit teary). The main character, Penelope, showed us the different kinds of heartbreak that one can feel in a lifetime, and not all of them have to be pertaining to losing someone. Penelope […]

Review: Miss Mayhem (Rebel Belle #2) by Rachel Hawkins

Miss Mayhem did not impress me as much as Rebel Belle did, but the ending kinda made up for it, and hence, the three stars. David and Harper are still OTP though. And to be honest, I think that their relationship was what made this book bearable, because everyone else felt disconnected and shady as fuck. That was the main problem with this book – each of the characters felt so disconnected and rushed, making me feel like the author wanted to get this book over and done with quickly. There were no character development whatsoever, and it disappointed me. Half […]

Signs of You completely took me by surprise. It was raw, surreal and wow, magic. Just magic. I’m not sure if this book is under fantasy genre, but for some reason, I don’t think it fits in that genre. It seemed too real to be categorized as just fantasy. Sidenote: This book is not under fantasy, I just checked. This book was amazing and beautiful, and it lets us look at grief in a completely different way. Even though I did not bawled my eyes out, I felt like this book just ripped my heart out open. I have a feeling […]

Review: P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han

In my opinion, there are some books that do not require a sequel, and one of those books would be To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. I honestly love the way it ended, and I think PS I Still Love You kinda ruined it a little bit. We all fell in love with Peter in the first book. He was amazing, and fantastic and I wanted him to be my book boyfriend. But then for some reason, he pissed me off in PS I Still Love You. BUT I still love this book. I have to admit that I […]
