A fun, romantic read, perfect for fans of Sarah Dessen and Susane Colasanti! What happens when Matt and Ella reunite one year after their breakup? Are second chances really possible?
Before Matt, Ella had a plan. Get over her ex-boyfriend and graduate high school—simple as that. But Matt—the cute, shy, bespectacled bass player—was never part of that plan. And neither was attending a party that was crashed by the cops just minutes after they arrived. Or spending an entire night saying "yes" to every crazy, fun thing they could think of.
But then Matt leaves town, breaking Ella's heart. And when he shows up a year later—wanting to relive the night that brought them together—Ella isn't sure whether Matt's worth a second chance. Or if re-creating the past can help them create a different future.

I received this book for free from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

EEEEEP, this is possibly one of my favorite 2015 books. I totally spazzed the moment I finished reading this book, because awwwww Ella and Matt are seriously the cutest book couple I have ever read about! This book was written in alternate times-the past and the present. It was quite simple to understand, because each chapter was dated. So, you wouldn’t get confused as to whether the story was in the past or present.

Ella was, at best, a typical girl who got her heart broken. You could actually see that she really got her heart broken when Matt left, because there was sort of a past vs present comparison, in which her ex-boyfriend dumped her before she met Matt.

MATT. MATT MATT MATT MATT. *swoons* This guy was just a super duper hot nerd. But as much as he was amazeballs, I was totally pissed off when he disappeared too. And I kinda get that sometimes even the most perfect people makes mistakes. But this book wasn’t just about romance. There was friendship too. Because when Matt left, he didn’t just broke Ella’s heart. He hurt their two other friends also. So there was that moment, that touching moment, where he had to make up to everyone for leaving. SIGH my heart.

But guys, read this. Trust me, you’ll re-evaluate about what you’ve done in life once you finish reading this book, because honestly, the whole of this book was about taking risks.
